BARKING ENGAGEMENT

Where: Founders Club at the University of Miami
When: Friday, March 14th at 12:45 PM

Hi to my buddies out there. I have new news that I want to share with you!

First of all, there was a Meeting of the Dachshund Club on Miami Beach and I came along to see what was doing and to also hawk some books. You can see by the photos that we come in several different varieties. Then we all gathered together to sing the "Dachsong". Sounded pretty bad to me, but who ever said I had an ear for music.

Following that was my Miami Beach Library Barking Engagement which proved to be pretty disappointing since my audience consisted mainly of people looking to get off the streets what with the weather being so very cold. Hey, can't win every time. As you can see in the photos I did have a good rest while the Little Lady did all the work. This time we had a newspaper photographer there and I will post the article as soon as I get it.

I have another barking engagement coming up on March 14th at the Founders Club at the University of Miami at 12:45 P.M.

It is a fundraiser for The Wellness Center which helps out people who have to deal with cancer. I feel so honored to be asked to bark here and hope to bring lots of smiles to many faces. But here's the real catch. I do my schtick right after lunch is served which means that I may be diving off the dias, right into someone's plate. That will not be good form befitting a gentleman such as myself, but who said a tuxedo made the man. A hound is a hound, is a hound.

Well that's it for now. I have more engagements coming up and hope to see you there. Meanwhile keep those cards and letters coming.
